Our idea…

Like many great products, Overpass was founded out of our own needs. Going places like conferences, meetings and networking events is always great, but we always dreaded the data entry that followed. If anything was going to ever come out of all those business cards we collected, we had to get them into the CRM. In order to get them in the CRM, we had to enter them… ourselves. Trying numerous other products, OCR was constantly failing us and seemed to be the only slightly possible option. The sales team couldn’t understand why fields were missing or names were misspelled, making them look bad.

Talking to other colleagues, clients, partners and friends, we realized we weren’t alone in this struggle. That the struggle was in fact real!

Fast forward several months and Overpass was born. Launched in beta in 2015, Overpass is quite literally designed to allow users to pass over the entire data entry process that comes with collecting contacts, leads and more. Allowing the leads to get straight from your device to wherever they belong.
