Marketing Manager
Captix, product of the parent company 44Doors, is looking for an exceptional Marketing Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work on a small team that has a VERY big impact on the entire organization.
The Marketing Manager for Captix works to bring the brand’s voice and technology to life in a way that big and small brands alike can understand. This includes creating a stream of content, managing an editorial calendar, strategizing creative campaigns, turning Captix users into Captix advocates and getting the Captix brand out there.
A successful candidate must have strong writing skills, exceptional editorial skills, proficiency in online advertising, and an outgoing and friendly personality to connect with customers. This position works closely with all members of the Captix team in a collaborative, innovative, and open-minded environment. So, can you hang with a team of friendly Texans? Are you able to use your left and right brain to marry data analytics with creative content to produce great work? Will you own it?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content curation, promotion and outreach across multiple channels, including social media, blog, website and other digital marketing platforms
Develop creative marketing campaigns and partnerships with the objective of acquiring profitable new users and engaging and retaining existing customers
Translate product features, benefits and positioning into high-performing product marketing, messaging and creative strategies
Develop strategy to drive website traffic & convert interest into product trials
Be the owner of the Captix brand, ensuring that all creative communications meet brand guidelines
MUST HAVE:
2-5 years experience in product marketing, with experience marketing B2B tech products or event management
Demonstrated success in creating and executing compelling, consumer-facing marketing campaigns
Outstanding communication and organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of projects in different stages simultaneously
Strong writing skills – you write clearly and credibly and can turn complex features into simple value propositions
Self-motivated, flexible, and a quick learner
A passion for analytics and apps. You recognize the importance of data behind every commercial decision, and can communicate opportunities and areas where growth will come thanks to apps and digital content
Hubspot, or similar marketing automation platform, knowledge and experience (certification preferred)
Interest in technology-based solutions
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience or a strong desire to work with a virtual team
